Free short-term parking button (‘Brötchentaste’)
How does the free short-term parking button work?
Do you have to drop by the bakery to buy rolls (‘Brötchentaste’ literally means ‘bread-roll button’), drop off your prescription at the pharmacy or get your latest bank statement from the ATM?
In Lübeck’s Old Town, there are 29 ticket machines, as well as the ‘MuK’ car park, where you can park for free for the first 10 minutes during the period when fees apply, i.e. from 10 am to 6 pm.
By pressing once on the green button on the ticket machine, you can obtain a free ticket for 10 minutes.
